Natural History In Sapcote

NatureSpot is a Leicestershire based registered charity (1138852), established in 2009 with the aim of promoting the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland and helping to increase public awareness of, and interest in, local biodiversity. It is entirely run by committed volunteers. Our aims are:

* To help the public to identify local wildlife and to learn about the natural environment
* To create, with public participation, an online showcase of the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland
* To encourage and facilitate biodiversity recording to support conservation need
* To encourage more public visitation to local sites of wildlife interest and enjoyment in those visits
